Chansing Dai
Chansing Dai (Publish music as Chansing D. via music platforms) is a musician focusing on instrumental music. He has multiple influences from Asian Culture, South European Culture, and American Culture. His music genre could be classified into 2 branches, some of his work influenced by classical music, neo-classical music, psychedelic rock and post rock, and the other of his work influenced by traditional Jazz & Blues, fusion Jazz, and Funk music.
His music journey starts as he learns Violin & Viola at a very young age, and as a teenager, he gets more instrumental playing skill as he explores Piano, Guitar, Bass, and Drum Kit. As he lives in Shanghai, he played with several bands at several famous Livehouses and music festival stages.
After he moved to the West Coast of the US, he played Guitar in Band Spurious Issues, which is a Fusion Band in the Bay Area, and Loose Leaves, another indie rock band actively performing in San Francisco. From 2022, he has been publishing his own music under the name of Chansing D. (Spotify, Youtube Music, Netease, QQ Music) He also cooperated with Ray Dog, Chino Yang, Jiarun Beats, and produced several live instrumental tracks. He has been professionally instructed in music composition and music production by James Lay (Award winning musician and sound designer, sound designer of Inception) and Eric Bikales (American Piano player, Film Composer).
